So once you have made your half square triangles you will want to make sure they are square. Nothing worse than having wonky triangles if that’s not the look you are aiming for.

Whenever I have doubts about a project, Paula says “oh well, if it doesn’t turn out you can always make a zippered pouch”, and we have a tutorial on how to do that too.
