I don’t know about you but I just love getting goodies in the post, so I was delighted when the items we that had ordered from Little Birdie Crafts arrived. I couldn’t wait to open the box. and wow, what a delight.  As you can see in the video below the items are just lovely. We bought lots of flowers to stock up our supply and they are just gorgeous.

I must admit, we were a bit apprehensive when we were adding stuff to the cart as everything is so cheap. However, we were pleasantly surprised when the items arrived and we will definitely be buying from them again.

We came to know about Little Birdie Crafts when we bought a couple of packs of heavily embossed papers that I used in my herb junk journal. Unfortunately, there were only  2 packs available and Lincraft didn’t have any more in stock. So we tracked down where the packs had come from and that’s how we found Little Birdie Crafts. They didn’t have any of these particular papers in stock, but they had so much more and Paula and I had a lovely time picking and choosing items to top up our stash. We did get a little carried away and ordered way more than was required. But the prices were just too good to pass up.  And half the fun is thinking up ways to use up the ‘supply’.

The first things we unpacked were the paper flowers. We purchased a lot of flowers in different colours and sizes, as you can see from the photo below.   I have to say we are delighted at the quality of the flowers and they are just gorgeous. These are only some of the range that they have available.

LIttle Birdie Crafts flower packsWe also bought some stamps and a tag die set. We have a few tag dies but they are mainly for larger dies and this one has 3 smaller tags, which will be ideal for both my junk and mini journals. The stamps a small backgrounds that will come in handy for card making as well as the journals.

It was so hard to decide on which of the cardstock packs to buy but one I did especially want was ‘The Classic Gentleman“. I have found that it is often hard to find really nice masculine-themed papers and this pack certainly fits the bill.  The cardstock is very good quality and the collection includes an element sheet, journaling cards, and pre-punched doilies designed especially with men in mind. There are journaling cards in the pack but I also purchased a separate pack of journaling cards as I think they will make great cards for the men in your life

The Aqua Medley Collection is a range of beautiful papers that also includes pre-punched doilies, elements  and a sheet of journaling cards. We also purchased a separate pack of journaling cards which will be ideal for card making. You can see some of the lovely cards in the photo below. Paula’s favourite colours are shades of blue so she likes the Aqua Medley collection very much.

Just look at the lovely collection of cut-outs and the pre-punched doilies. It’s this sort of attention to detail that makes these packs a joy to work with.

For those of us who love purple, you can’t go past the Purple Passion collection.  Only the 6″x6″ pack was available, so we bought that and extra journaling cards.

The photos on the cards are truly exquisite and these will make beautiful cards and mini-notebooks to pop into pockets and tuck spots in your journals.

For our last selection, we chose the Amor Mio Collection. This is a beautiful set of papers in whites and creams. You could make a whole album for a wedding gift or you can use selected papers as a contrast to set off other colours in your journal. The journaling cards will make beautiful wedding cards.

So overall I have to say we are delighted with our new stash.
