Often, getting started is the hardest part of scrapbooking and art journalling.

The background gives you the starting point, so If you are looking for a really nifty idea for a background for your art journal or scrapbooking pages then this technique using ink sprays looks great.

Use the mist sprays to create a really nice looking background to start with and then you can build up your page from there.
